Exercise care when loading customer parts on racks and bars for plating
Brush copper contact bars and rack hooks prior to loading in order to achieve optimal conductivity.
Identify which racks to use in order to facilitate optimum productivity of the job.
Load plating bars with loaded racks in quantities that will yield a productive load.
Exercise care when unloading customer plated parts from racks and bars
Distinguish the difference between acceptable and reject parts
Segregate and maintain work order traceability of in-process rejected parts.
Identify non-conductive fingers and racks in order to trim finger or replace rack.
Pack finished customer parts in such a manner to ensure that parts will not be
damaged during shipment and delivery.
Other:
Follow safety rules.
Adhere to environmental rules by disposing of spent material properly.
Assist Maintenance and Lab personnel in performing tank maintenance.
Assist in moving finished and unfinished parts to designated storage areas.
Parts finished or unfinished are NOT to remain in production area while plant is
shutdown.
Assist in maintaining solution levels and process integrity.
Helps maintain a clean work environment by emptying trash cans, spreading
and picking up floor-dry agent.
Perform additional duties as assigned by Platers, Production Coordinators, and
Managers.
Work Activity includes, but is not limited to:
Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
Assist plater turning parts on racks
Assist in making chemical adds to production tanks when necessary
Familiar with Plant safety policies and procedures.
