EMMT Technician

Full-time on -site role for a EMMT located in the City of Maricopa.

The EMMT will be responsible for tasks such as install, diagnose, repair, and maintain pumps, motors, variable frequency drives, filtration systems, belt press, electrical and mechanical equipment for the delivery of water. Coordinate with vendors to obtain equipment/parts in order to perform repairs. Receive and inventory items in warehouse and at facility.

Role Description:

Install, diagnose, repair, and maintain pumps, motors, variable frequency drives, filtration systems, belt press, electrical and mechanical equipment for the delivery of water, wastewater, and recycled water services at wastewater facility, well sites, and lift stations. Coordinate with vendors to obtain equipment/parts in order to perform repairs. Receive and inventory items in warehouse and at facility.

Basic Skills: Must be able to have clear communication skills and take initiative with daily tasks. Problem-solving on your own, when dealing with the customers, is an asset that is desired. Physical Demands: Ability to adjust focus; climb stairs, navigate uneven terrain; use fingers to grasp and move small objects; ability to hear and recognize sounds; able to react quickly using hands, fingers, or feet; able to utilize personal protective equipment as appropriate for safety. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to thirty pounds. Work is performed outdoors where the employee may be exposed to noise from construction site heavy equipment and inclement weather.
