This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for OPM Government-wide Direct Hire Authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

ABOUT THE POSITIONS:

The Washington Aqueduct is seeking several Maintenance-related positions in support of our water treatment plants and facilities. These positions are responsible for providing a variety of maintenance services to maintain and keep our Plant operational.

Located in Washington, D.C., the Washington Aqueduct serves the seat of Government and the Nation’s Capital. The Aqueduct, built and superintended by the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, has been providing water to the District of Columbia since 1863 and currently wholesales water to three customers: District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority, Fairfax County Water Authority and Arlington County. High Voltage Electrician, WG-2810-11

Electrician, WG-2805-10

Hourly Wage Rate:

WG-10: $34.36 - $40.14

WG-11: $36.12 - $42.20

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. Evidence which demonstrates you possess the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of this position must be supported by detailed descriptions of such on your resume.
