Employment Schedule – Fill-Time 40 + Hrs.
Location – 10 Castle St, Oneida, NY 13421
· Knowledge of safety required to work with electrical systems
· Proficiency in reading blueprints and one-line diagrams
· General understanding of the National Electric Code
· Identification and utilization of electrical tools, materials, hardware, and equipment
· Willing to travel and work out of town occasionally
· Good at following direction and anticipating upcoming tasks
· Able to layout, rough-in and install light fixtures, switches and receptacles
· Able to install various conduit types (EMT, RMC, PVC) and sizes (1/2” - 4”)
· Able to install various types of electrical equipment (Panel, Gear, ATS, Generators, Transformers, etc.)
· Able to bend ½”, ¾”, & 1” EMT conduits
· Able to install low voltage cables and control wiring
· Must be able to lift and carry minimally 50 lbs.
· Must be able to perform tasks from ladders, lifts, scaffolding
· Must be able to perform tasks that involve repetitive reaching, stretching, squatting, kneeling, crouching, and bending
· Must be able to have stamina able to perform basic construction work
· Must be able to work in varied climate conditions (rain, snow, heat)
· Valid drivers license and reliable means of transportation
· Show up on time and ready to work when required
