We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both industrial and commercial electrical work, demonstrating proficiency in reading schematics and using various electrical testing equipment. This role involves working on construction sites, ensuring that all electrical installations comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and maintaining a safe work environment.
Responsibilities
•Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial and commercial settings.
•Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine wiring layouts.
•Utilize hand tools, voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
•Ensure compliance with NEC standards during all electrical installations and repairs.
•Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate electrical work on-site.
•Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or necessary repairs.
•Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
•Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements
•Proven experience as an Electrician in industrial or commercial settings.
•Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
•Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment such as voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters.
•Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately.
•Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in electrical work.
•Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members on construction sites.
•Valid electrician's license or certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
