- Must understand and abide by all OSHA and NFPA regulations for Electrical Safety at all times.
- Working knowledge for the repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of medium voltage systems to include switch gear, transformers, and etc.
- Working knowledge of the repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical sensors and field devices to include; photoelectric, inductive, capacitive, magnetic, pressure, temperature, weight and position sensors, solenoids, power supplies and indicator lights.
- Working experience of the repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of low/medium motor control devices to include; AC drives, DC drives, contactors, motors and breakers.
- Some working knowledge of the repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of pneumatic and hydraulic control systems.
- Some working knowledge and skill in wire and conduit sizing for ampacity, code requirements, and advanced skill in conduit bending and installation.
- Assists all other Maintenance Personnel as needed to meet daily priorities, daily needs, and special projects.
- Performs Electrical preventive maintenance during shutdown intervals and plays a key role in preparing all necessary resources for each shutdown period.
- Some working knowledge of PLC programming and modifications. Knowledge should also include a practical understanding of processors, I/O cards, power supplies, network adapters, and other related hardware.
- Proficient use of PCs and specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and Maintenance software.
