Job Title: Temporary Electrician Helper (Summer Job) Location: On-site, Outdoor Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, Daylight Hours, 6 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (Overtime Possible) Compensation Range: $20.00 - $30.00 hour. Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Job Type: Temporary (Summer), hourly, non-exempt position Benefits: None

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Electrician Helper to assist a Master Electrician on-site during the summer months. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a basic understanding of electrical terms and equipment who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in the field, or for a retired electrician looking for summer work. Preferred experience is considered a plus. Work is performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities:

•

Assist the Master Electrician with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, devices, and fixtures used on Company property.

•

Transport, organize, and maintain electrical tools and materials on-site

•

Perform general labor tasks such as digging trenches, pulling wire, assisting with replacement of defective electrical switches, lighting ballasts, receptacles, and setting up work areas

•

Ability to size wire and conduit.

•

Follow instructions and safety protocols at all times

•

Help with clean-up and securing of the job site at the end of each workday

•

Occasional overtime in case of outages or emergency work may be required.

Qualifications:

•

Familiarity with basic electrical terms and tools is preferred

•

Ability to work outdoors in summer weather and perform physical tasks

•

Reliable transportation to and from the job site

•

Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to assist

•

Must be able to follow safety procedures and instructions carefully

Physical Demands:

•

Minimum lifting of 10lbs-Maximum lifting of 75lbs occasionally

•

Pushing and pulling a minimum of 10lbs-maximum of 75lbs, occasionally

•

Tightening and fastening of multiple fasteners (i.e., bolts, nuts, and screws)

•

Occasionally, crouching, twisting, bending/stooping, walking, balancing, climbing, crawling, and/or kneeling

Requirements:

•

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

•

Must pass a drug screening and physical examination.

•

A background check will be conducted.

•

Valid driver's license required.

•

Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check will be performed by our company’s auto insurer.
