Electrical Top Helpers (commercial electrical)

H. R. Allen, Inc. is an experienced electrical and mechanical contractor serving customers in South Carolina and other southeastern states for over 40 years.

Our Charleston, SC office is looking to hire several experienced Electrical Top Helpers to join our staff to work on several long term electrical projects in the Charleston, SC area. Many of the projects we work on are new commercial construction, ground up projects and up-fits. We are looking for candidates that are ready to work and plan on working each day. Candidates MUST have reliable transportation!

Top Helpers should have at least 2 - 3 years of experience working with conduit and pulling wire. Conduit running experience is a MUST!!!

We are looking for local candidates to the Charleston, SC area as we are not paying per diem.

Essential Functions of Top Helpers:

- Terminate junction boxes.

- Install required conduit and wiring including branch and feeder, above and below ground.

- Install fixture connections and rough-ins.

- Under supervision of the Foreman or an Electrician, operates a variety of electrical testing equipment in locating and determining types of electrical malfunctions.

- Demonstrates basic knowledge of plans, drawings, specifications and work orders.

- Other non-technical tasks as assigned.

- Conduct all tasks in a safe and efficient manner.

Candidates MUST be experienced and must be able to pass a drug screen. These are full time positions, not temporary. We offer benefits and vacation pay! Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
