Electrical Technologist

Overview: This position is located in Hay River, NT

Working in a team environment under the direction of the Manager, Design, the Electrical Technologist provides Electrical design drafting from the conceptual stage through to commissioning, for capital projects and maintenance support activities involving the Corporation’s power generating stations utilizing Computer Aided Design Drafting (CADD) systems. This position assists Electrical Engineers and Manager, Transmission & Distribution to provide technical design, project support, and technical support throughout all stages of project delivery for assigned capital and O&M projects. Supports and contributes to other engineering department responsibilities. Responsibilities:

Qualifications: Electrical Engineering Diploma plus at least 4 years of related experience including experience in electrical design. Utility experience will be preferred. Equivalencies may* be considered.

Salary for this position ranges from $57.85/hr - $70.28/hr, in addition there is a location allowance of $3,823 per annum.
