We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Panel Builder to join our tight-knit electrical department. In this hands-on role, you’ll assemble and wire control panels for paint booths and remote control boxes for air makeup units. Must have experience in electrical wiring, specifically control boxes. MUST PASS A DRUG TEST AND BACKGROUND CHECK.
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience building industrial control panels.
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and layouts.
- Experience wiring panels from start to finish.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality.
- Ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining safety and cleanliness.
- Able to work within an assembly room
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Self-starter with a sense of urgency and initiative.
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
- Basic skills in inventory tracking and part management.
- MUST PASS A DRUG TEST AND BACKGROUND CHECK.
- Assemble and wire industrial control panels using components such as push-buttons, beacons, relays, motor starters, contactors.
- Read and interpret ANSI/IEC electrical schematics and panel layout drawings for accurate wiring and component placement.
- Mount components to electrical backplanes, including drilling and tapping for DIN rails, disconnects, wire ducts, and more.
- Wire 480VAC transformers, motors, and disconnects based on schematic diagrams.
- Adhere to UL 508A standards, including proper wire stripping, terminal torqueing, labeling, and panel documentation.
- In addition to control panel wiring, you'll be cross-trained in building and assembling air makeup units.
- Perform quality assurance checks with a digital multimeter throughout the build process.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and help manage department inventory.
- Flex into other production tasks as needed to meet team goals.
Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
