Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lineperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical work, including experience with both commercial and industrial settings. This role involves working with various electrical systems, ensuring safety and compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), and utilizing specialized tools for installation and maintenance tasks. The Lineperson will play a vital role in supporting our operations by performing high-quality work in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

•

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with NEC standards.

•

Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues.

•

Work with cabling for low voltage systems, ensuring proper installation and functionality.

•

Operate bucket trucks safely to access overhead electrical installations.

•

Read and interpret blueprints to execute projects accurately.

•

Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.

Requirements

•

Proven experience as an electrician in commercial or industrial settings is preferred.

•

Proficiency in welding techniques is a plus.

•

Familiarity with NEC regulations and standards is essential.

•

Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively.

•

Experience working with low voltage systems is advantageous.

•

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.

•

Must be able to operate bucket trucks safely and efficiently.

•

Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment are necessary.
