Wood's Operations team in Canada is currently recruiting an Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls Engineering Student for the 2026 Winter semester, to join our St. John’s NL team, and support our large-scale brownfield projects. This individual will have excellent skills in time management, organization, and attention to detail. Typical responsibilities:

- Ensuring project schedules and client approved budgets are managed and met

- Liaison with third party contractors and vendors in the procurement of materials and equipment

- Operate in a multidiscipline environment to complete large-scale projects for our clients

- Provide Engineering support where required within the Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls groups

- Completion of “Bill of Materials” for the procurement of material and services

- Population of engineering database deliverables for project Closeouts

- Adhering to all HSEQ requirements within the Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls discipline in accordance with Wood procedures and management systems

- Originating documentation including but not limited to design drawings, technical specifications, data sheets, supplier document register lists (SDRL’s), and reports

Expected:

- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary Engineering Degree Program

- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral in English

- Ability to interact with Multidiscipline personnel in Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Subcontractors and Client representatives on project-related topics

- Strong safety orientation and team focused attitude

- Proficient computer skills to include MS Word, Excel, Outlook
