As a Electrical Engineer V, you will hold the most senior position in the electrical engineering department. You will lead and manage the electrical engineering team, oversee the design and implementation of electrical systems, and provide technical expertise and guidance. Your role will involve strategic planning, project coordination, stakeholder management, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
· Perform equipment sizing & selection, alternative analyses, and other deliverables
· Support the engineering, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of facilities
· Present engineering and design deliverables to project members, cross-functional teams, senior leadership, external vendors, clients, and other stakeholders
· Plan, forecast, and actualize deliverable progress to support project reporting and schedule requirements
· Identify scope changes and estimate impact to effort and schedule
· Supports proposal efforts by evaluating RFP scope, identifying list of deliverables, and estimating effort required
· Monitors progress and performance against the project plan
· Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility
· Prepares, reviews, and approves electrical equipment, conduit, and wiring calculations, requisitions, lists, studies, reports, BOMs, and designs
· Extensive knowledge and expertise in electrical engineering principles and practices
· Advanced proficiency in electrical engineering software and tools
· Ability to interpret and create technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
· In-depth understanding of power distribution, control systems, and electrical equipment
· Strong knowledge of industry codes, regulations, and best practices
· Ability to develop and implement electrical engineering standards and guidelines
· Excellent facilitation, communication, and analytical skills – written and verbal
· Proficient in both written and spoken English
