Lead the design and development of advanced PCB-based power electronics that drive our cutting-edge water desalination products.
- Lead PCB design efforts, including schematic capture, layout, component selection, and board bring-up.
- Design, develop, and optimize power electronics systems, such as DC/DC converters, motor drives, and battery interfaces.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define electrical and system-level requirements and support product development from concept to production.
- Evaluate and select critical electrical components to meet design, reliability, and environmental goals including sensors and actuators.
- Conduct validation and verification testing, troubleshoot issues, and iterate on designs to ensure robust and reliable performance.
- Support system integration efforts, working closely with mechanical and firmware engineers.
- Assist in DFM/DFT activities and work with manufacturing to ensure scalability and cost-effectiveness of designs.
- Stay current with advancements in electronics and power systems to inform architecture and component selection.
- What We're Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in PCB design and power electronics (internship experience considered).- Proficiency with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, Eagle).
- Strong understanding of power circuit topologies, layout best practices for high current and EMI-sensitive designs.
- Solid grasp of analog and digital circuit design, signal integrity, and system-level debugging.
- Basic knowledge of microcontrollers and digital communication protocols
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced development environment.
- Experience with embedded firmware development and real-time control systems.
- Advance knowledge microcontrollers, sensors, and digital communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART).
- Background in control theory or system modeling (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink).
- Experience designing for high-volume manufacturing and cost optimization.
- Knowledge of environmental testing and compliance standards.
- Exposure to water treatment systems or fluid-handling technologies is a plus.
