The role involves monitoring and independently operating the Xcel Energy electric distribution system within established guidelines. Responsibilities include directing field employees in switching operations, reviewing and approving switching procedures, troubleshooting system failures, and coordinating restoration efforts. Effective communication with Control Center personnel and maintaining relationships with other utilities and Security Coordinators are essential aspects of this role.
