Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is designed for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade while working under the supervision of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Duties

•

Assist licensed electricians in the installation and repair of electrical systems and components.

•

Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.

•

Learn to read blueprints and technical diagrams to understand project specifications.

•

Support high voltage and low voltage electrical work as directed.

•

Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems using voltmeters and ohmmeters.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.

•

Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others on the job site.

•

Participate in training sessions to develop skills related to commercial and industrial electrical work.

Requirements

•

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

•

Basic knowledge of electrical principles is a plus; willingness to learn is essential.

•

Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, voltmeters, and ohmmeters is advantageous.

•

Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is desirable.

•

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices on the job site.

•

Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects when necessary.

•

Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.

•

Previous experience or coursework related to electrical work is beneficial but not required.
