This position involves going to and from a client's site in a company vehicle to transport client samples as well as shipping and receiving samples in our warehouse.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid G driver's license and clean driving record.
- Experience driving company vehicles or similar vehicles is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry samples weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
- Computer skills an asset.
- Sample Pickup:
- Safely and efficiently pick up samples from designated locations.
- Ensure samples are properly secured for transport to prevent damage or loss.
- Sample Transport:
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to transport samples to designated locations.
- Follow designated routes and schedules for pick-ups and deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies regarding safe driving practices.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sample pick-ups, deliveries, and any related documentation.
- Report any issues or discrepancies with sample quantities or condition to appropriate personnel.
- Other Duties:
- Perform minor maintenance checks on company vehicles.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients during pick-ups and deliveries.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
- Warehouse Duties:
- Preparing, organizing, shipping, and receiving samples and supplies.
- Organizing boxes and skids for disposal or return.
- Delivering supply shipments internally.
- Ensure that damaged parcels or samples are reported immediately.
- Updating logs, excel files, or the storage program as required for samples and supplies.
- Pulling necessary pulps and rejects for additional or refires and ensuring that all pulps and rejects are stored appropriately using the storage program.
- Ensure maintenance and janitorial tasks are performed daily.
- Be Safety oriented with all aspects of the job.
