Direct hire role with a major food distributor and producer.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Driver to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of our deliveries to our customers.

Responsibilities

- Ensure safe and timely deliveries.

- Complete daily Driver and Vehicle inspections logs.

- Be courteous to customers.

- Verify product and quantities to be picked up prior to signing bill of lading.

- Confirm pick-ups and deliveries.

- Maintain communication with supervisor while on the road.

- Ensure trailer weight is verified via Cat scale when required.

- Support cleanliness of truck.

Requirements

- 7 years of Driving experience with a valid CDL license.

- Comfortable commuting to Riverside and Los Angeles areas.

- Can pass a driving record check and DOT requirements.

- Able to lift up to 60lbs.

- Comfortable handling frozen/cold meat products.

Shift: 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday - Friday with some occasional overtime and weekends when needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
