We are seeking a full-time Drill Bits Applications Engineer to join our team in Calgary, AB, in an on-site capacity. In this role, you will work directly with clients to provide technical expertise and support, ensuring optimal drill bit performance. Responsibilities include analyzing drilling data, preparing technical recommendations, troubleshooting product performance in the field, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions. You will also support customer training initiatives and contribute to the development of new products tailored to client needs.
- Strong technical skills in drilling applications, bit designs, and drill bit performance analysis.
- Proficiency in data analysis, modeling, and interpretation to recommend solutions and optimize drilling performance.
- Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities in field applications.
- Effective communication and client-facing skills with the ability to deliver technical presentations and build relationships.
- Background in engineering or a related technical discipline; a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or similar field is preferred.
- Experience with CAD software, industry-specific tools, and advanced engineering applications is advantageous.
- Willingness to work on-site in Calgary, AB, and travel to field locations as needed.
- Previous experience in the oilfield services or energy sector is a plus.
