Draftsman/Designer
Job Summary:
Lays out complete products and prepares assembly, and detail drawings while following the general instructions and directions of a project engineer. Makes various calculations such as strength of materials, weights, simple forces, and specifications. Prepares and organizes bill of materials and cost estimates.
Duties/Responsibilities:
•Determines the types of materials needed and calculates the quantity to be ordered.
•Provides information for cost estimating including BOM lists, material nesting, labor, and assembly.
•Assists in the follow-up of prototype construction with outside vendors.
•Secures quotations while expedites materials and delivery.

•Knowledge of CAD software and other drafting tools.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
•Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
•1 year of related experience or degree in Engineering field.
Physical Requirements:
•Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
•Must be able to access and navigate all areas of fabrication and machine shop.
•Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
