Primary Responsibilities
•Run residential unit doors using appropriate machine to bore and route hinge placements for interior/exterior doors attaching jambs and hinges.
•Complete 60-90 interior doors daily or complete 20-60 exterior doors daily depending on the schedule.
•Read tickets to determine job specifications.
•Maintain door machine area.
•Turn in paperwork with completion dates to the Shop Manager.
•Complete assigned training.
•Complete the Door Machine Maintenance Checklist and perform timely quality check.
Other tasks may include but are not limited to:
Any task assigned by the Door Shop Manager.
Qualifications
•Must be able to lift at least 100 pounds.
•Must be able to read a tape measure.
•Must have 1-3 years of experience preferred. Willing to train the right candidate.
•Must be able to read and speak English.
•Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
•Must have a functioning smart phone with internet capability.
Competencies
•General understanding of setting up and calibrating machines for different specifications.
•Proficient in using hand and power tools.
•Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
•Ability to read and understand paperwork.
Compensation
•$20.00-$25.00/hour depending on experience.
