POSITION SUMMARY
The Division Order Analyst is responsible to execute on all Division Order functions, including the creation, organization and maintenance of revenue and joint interest billing (JIB) divisions of interest, data sheets, company reserve report inputs and associated narratives for the oil and gas properties, both producing and non-producing. Additionally, this position assists with title curative efforts related to title opinion requirements and supports the implementation and functionality of the Division Order software. The Division Order Analyst reports to the Supervisor – Division Order in the Denver office.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
•Support the setup and maintenance of revenue and joint interest billing decks in Quorum Upstream Suite.
•Ensure the timely payment of royalties in accordance with state statutes.
•Support the creation and verifications of certain reserve report inputs.
•Analyze title opinions, land contracts, operating agreements, oil and gas leases, broker reports, curative, well and regulatory documents, conveyances, probate and heirship data and other legal documents to determine ownership and lease burden relationships for production proceeds from oil and gas wells.
•Work with land team to clear and cure title.
•Research legal suspense items.
•Verify GWI/NRI on outside operated division orders.
•Perform routine data input and administration activities within Quorum.
•Maintain accurate name and address data for lessors, payees, and partners.
•Perform detailed analysis of title opinions and legal documents to determine title ownership and resolve identified issues.
•Respond to inquiries from mineral owners, title attorneys, other third parties and internal staff regarding property interests.
•Maintain respectful and productive working relationships within and across all work groups, ensuring effective collaboration and cooperation.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
•Strong understanding of Land and Accounting Databases.
•Technologically adaptive to new or updated software solutions for managing company oil and gas properties.
•Advanced Excel skills working with pivot tables and data organization and manipulation.
•Proficient MS Office Suite skills.
•Self-starter: work independently and in a team environment.
•Solid experience organizing, addressing, and curing title curative requirements.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to details to produce quality and accurate work.
•Strong prioritization, organization and multi-task skills to beat or meet deadlines.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelor’s degree or relevant equivalent experience.
•3+ years of Division Order Analyst experience.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
•Maintains affiliations with local/ national associations and is an active participant through attending meetings and networking events on a frequent basis.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
•Preferred previous experience in any of the following locations WY, CO, MT, ND, OK, NM, TX
•Working knowledge of Quorum Division Order Software
WORK ENVIRONMENT
•Work in a climate-controlled office and routinely use standard office equipment.

Jonah Energy determines the salary level for potential new employees by considering a candidate's experience, skills, and education, along with the position's work location, external market conditions and internal pay equity.
This position is eligible for a 9/80 hybrid work schedule after 30-days of employment. Work is performed at office on Tuesdays through Thursdays, remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
