Division Order Analyst

Job Summary

Eckard Land & Acquisition, LLC is seeking candidates for the role of Division Order Analyst or Sr. Division Order Analyst. The primary focus of this position will be on the revenue/jib side of our internal Division Orders. The Division Order Analyst will need to be multi-task and detail oriented to manage a large volume of internal Division Order pay decks and be able to fully integrate as a critical point on our Division Order team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

-Establish and maintain internal revenue & jib decks

-Research and identify decimals sent by operators to confirm ownership

-Research title reports/opinions in determining ownership

-Create internal pay decks including a large number of owners

-Track and update suspense accounts for revenue

-Coordinate with other members of our Land group to rectify ownership

-Fully integrate as to our internal pay codes and how we handle the transfers of interest

-Assist management with special projects as needed

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

-Minimum of 5 years Division Order experience

-Applicant must be in the greater Dallas area or willing to relocate as this is an in-house position

-Landman experience is a plus

-The applicant must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

-Proficiency with Microsoft Office required, with emphasis on Excel and Word.

-Great Interpersonal and communication skills

-Attention to detail and strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills

-Must be a team player
