The Distribution Product Sales Specialist coordinates incoming distributor sales. They enter the distribution- orders into the system and provide lead times to the customers. They coordinate shipping with the ROHN Shipping Manager. Constant feedback between the customer and the ROHN Distribution Project Manager is a continuous part of the job with respect to timelines, shipment of product and potential quality improvements.
- Provides technical and customer support to distribution customers.
- Directs and coordinates sales activities.
- Preparing quotes to customers.
- Works with department heads to review/plan schedules, lead times, specifications of products, etc.
- Represents ROHN at trade association meetings to promote products.
- Communicates with Telecom/Distribution Sales Manager.
- Advises dealers and distributors on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business.
- May visit customers to stimulate interest in the sale of manufactured ROHN distribution products.
- Keeps up with industry trends.
- Previous experience in telecom and utility sales desired.
- 2 + years of sales experience minimum.- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
- Positive and personable with proven leadership skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer efficient with Microsoft Office and ERP system experience.
