The essential job responsibilities of the Distribution Design Engineer (Level III) are to apply established engineering principles in the design/ development of electric, gas and/ or water distribution facilities depending on area of work concentration.

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements:

To perform the Distribution Design Engineer (Level III) role, you must: -Have a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering depending on expertise required.

-Experience requirements will vary according to departmental needs. -Must have an occupationally significant combination of: leadership qualities to motivate and direct employees; organizational ability; oral and written communication skills; ability to apply engineering principles and methods to utility design; spatial and form perception; mathematical ability and attention to detail.

- Must have a valid driver's license from state of residence. Physical Working Conditions: Works inside and outside under good conditions. Subject to construction hazards and conditions while making field inspections.
