As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Software Engineering to lead our dynamic software engineering team across the U.S. and China. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of our technology and research initiatives, including AI implementation and SaaS development.
- Manage and lead a team of software engineers based in the U.S. and China
- Oversee software development processes to ensure timely product delivery and seamless daily operations.
- Collaborate with the CTO to define and execute technical and research strategies, with a focus on AI and SaaS.
- Design and implement efficient development procedures tailored to clean-tech SaaS systems.
- Supervise SaaS deployment and operations while managing internal IT systems.
- Work closely with the business development team to align technical solutions with company goals.
- Partner with product management and clients to plan and execute software releases.
- Support our partners and customers together with our BD and sales teams.
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or any related areas
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience managing large-scale software development teams.
- Strong technical management expertise, coupled with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
- In-depth knowledge of software development trends, SaaS deployment, and IT systems management.
- Interested in being a key decision-maker at a growing renewable tech startup company in an ever-expanding market
- Excellent communication skills, with bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese highly preferred
- The base pay for this position ranges from $150,000/year to $300,000/year. Pay may vary depending on contribution, skills, and experience.
