We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Operations to help lead our Wisconsin manufacturing operations. This role is important as we are finalizing our second facility in Wisconsin, creating the need for a strong leader to oversee current production while building the systems and team needed for expansion. This individual will report to the VP of Operations & COO.
A strong candidate would be able to demonstrate strengthening organizational structure, improving production efficiency, and ensuring compliance with quality and audit standards across the facilities.
· Take full ownership of production and management, bringing structure where it’s needed most.
· Build scalable systems and processes to support the facilities.
· Strengthen accountability by defining roles and eliminating overlap in leadership.
· Drive quality improvements by holding suppliers and teams to higher standards.
· Lead corrective actions from recent audits, ensuring compliance and sustainability.
· Be a visible leader on the production floor, setting the tone for operational excellence.
· Develop and mentor rising talent so both plants are equipped with strong leaders.
· Run efficient, solution-focused meetings that get results and reduce conflict.
· As business needs arise, addressing temporary work with flexibility to work with the evening shift if necessary.
· Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience or equivalent in manufacturing, ideally in a General Manager or Director role.
· Demonstrated success in scaling operations or leading multi-facility management.
· Proven ability to lead organizational change and improve team collaboration.
· Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
· Experience with audits, compliance, and corrective action implementation.
· A hands-on leader who thrives on accountability and results.
· Legal authorization to work in the US required.
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Spanish would be an asset.
