The Director of Operations at Agile Underground Services will lead and oversee the daily operational functions to ensure efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance across all service areas. This role is pivotal in driving strategic initiatives that enhance operational performance, optimize resource allocation, and support sustainable growth within the organization. The Director will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including to align operational goals with corporate objectives. They will also be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures that improve operational workflows and mitigate risks. Ultimately, this position ensures that the company delivers reliable services while maintaining high standards of quality.

- Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the company's efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated while identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Review, analyze, and evaluate business procedures.
- Plan, direct, control, implement, evaluate, monitor, and forecast budgets and cost of sales in each division to achieve financial objectives.
- Communicate and explain new directives, policies, or procedures to managers; for major changes, meet with entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale.
- Improve customer service and satisfaction through policy and procedural changes.
- Provide staff training, development, and mentoring as needed.
- Review project reports to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget.
- Continue to develop professionally by maintaining technical proficiency, expanding licensure footprint, and participating in continuing education opportunities.
- Grow and maintain quality, trusting client relationships.
- Develop and implement client retention strategies, such as cross-selling additional services to existing clients.
- Implement and review SOPs that enhance production and the QA/QC process.
- Lead and participate in EOS meetings and process.
- Work with HR to recruit additional staff as needed.
- Directly involved with strategic growth initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in operations management within a relevant industry.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with advanced data analytics and operational technology systems.
- Demonstrated success in change management and process optimization.
