This individual will lead efforts related to PHMSA Parts 192 and 195, while also supporting Pipeline Integrity Management Programs. This is a leadership position requiring technical knowledge, strategic thinking, strong writing skills and the ability to work closely with clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all aspects of the development, implementation, and ongoing support of Integrity EPC’s Pipeline Compliance Programs, with broad knowledge about:
•Operations and Maintenance (O&M)
•Integrity Management Programs (IMP)
•Public Awareness, Control Room Management, Emergency Response Programs
•Conduct facility jurisdictional delineations, code interpretations, compliance audits, and internal process assessments.
•Guide and support clients through PHMSA and state audits, including pre-inspection preparation and post-inspection issue resolution.
•Perform and support risk analysis activities, including threat identification, likelihood modeling, consequence assessment, and risk ranking.
•Monitor pending regulatory changes and proactively communicate implications to clients and internal stakeholders.
•Collaborate with field teams and clients during pipeline integrity digs, offering technical guidance on anomaly evaluation and working closely with NDE personnel.
•Develop and deliver training programs on pipeline safety regulations and compliance best practices.
•Lead communications with clients and preform technical presentations.
•Serve as a subject matter expert and strategic advisor to both clients and internal departments.
•Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities, creating proposals, participating in client meetings, and helping sell Integrity EPC’s compliance and integrity services.
Qualifications
•Bachelor of Science in Engineering (required).
•Minimum 8 years of experience with PHMSA-regulated pipelines and comprehensive knowledge of Parts 192 and 195.
•Demonstrated understanding of pipeline integrity processes.
•Strong knowledge of Federal and State DOT Pipeline Safety Regulations and PHMSA-referenced standards (e.g., API, ASME, ASTM).
•Effective communicator and strong writing skills, with experience engaging with both executive-level clients and regulatory personnel.
•Skilled in interpreting and applying complex regulatory language to real-world scenarios.
•Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•Experience in the midstream oil and gas sector is strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
•Experience with GIS platforms and spatial data analysis related to pipeline systems.
•Familiarity with cathodic protection systems and corrosion control program management.
•NACE Certifications and/or Professional Engineer (PE)
