Oversees machine-shop operations and related activities such as inventory control, maintenance, painting and shipping.
Will directs a four-person supervisory team over whom they will have personnel-management responsibilities, including but not limited to hiring, delegating assignments, performance evaluations, and recommending discipline, compensation, and discharge.
Managing day shift and night shift resources and effectively organize and planning daily tasks to ensure and enhance efficiency
Managing procurement of consumables necessary for machine-shop operations and interfacing and negotiating with tool suppliers and machine manufactures
Coordinate the formulation of production schedules to optimize results and resources utilization
Collaborating with sales, operations, and executive management to discuss financial results and opportunities for improvement.
Manages of the subcontracting activities to complement internal operations.
Selecting and hiring new staff and developing training programs to ensure professional growth
Analyzing monthly results in terms of volume, efficiency, and delivery time and reporting data to the President and General Manager.
In charge of our maintenance team to keep all machines up and running efficiently and effectively at all times.
A bachelor’s degree in mechanical or equivalent field related experience
Experience with the manufacturing of carbon-steal or stainless-steal products
Experience with assisting in the coordination of production schedules to ensure workflow and continued production.
Experience with ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations.
Experience with running and the upkeep of CNC Machines
Experience with the running and upkeep of Robotic Cell CNC Machines
Experience and knowledge of how to keep and maintain inventory of necessary parts and pieces to keep shop up and running.
Experience with developing and maintaining of annual departmental budget.
