About The Job

The Director, DNG-ISAC & Security, manages the administration of the DNG-ISAC, LLC, including serving as staff executive to the DNG-ISAC Advisory Council, coordinating contracts, building coalitions, establishing and managing the Affiliate Program, growing engagement across the DNG-ISAC Community through topical meetings and workshops, and managing Community outreach. This position also supports the management and execution of AGA’s cyber and physical security policy and strategy, specifically as they relate to coordination with the electric sector and associated federal and state government partners.

What You Will Do

- Administer the DNG-ISAC, including leading the DNG-ISAC Team to elevate information sharing programs, enhance membership benefits, and coordinate vendors and contracts.

- Serve as staff executive to the DNG-ISAC Advisory Council to include holding regular virtual and in-person meetings and creating and executing DNG-ISAC goals and metrics (with input from the Advisory Council).

- Build strategic coalitions with federal and state government representatives, information sharing organizations, and security service providers

- Stand up and manage a fee-based Affiliate Program for non-AGA member utilities to opt into the DNG-ISAC Community.

- Develop and manage the DNG-ISAC budget.

- Develop and manage metrics to measure DNG-ISAC use, performance, and value-add.

- Develop executive briefs to report to the AGA Board as appropriate.

- Develop and execute timely and relevant virtual events and surveys to engage the Community, including logistics coordination.

- Prepare and deliver DNG-ISAC presentations as appropriate to promote the value of the DNG-ISAC and develop relevant talking points for the Vice President of Security & Operations.

- Lead implementation of DNG-ISAC projects and events

- Own the collection, analysis and any dissemination of incident data to external parties such as government agencies, regulatory bodies or media contacts

- Identify and coordinate external engagements that benefit the DNG-ISAC.

- Support administrative and logistical functions to further the objectives of the DNG-ISAC.

- With respect to supporting AGA cyber and physical security policy and strategy:

- Liaise with the US Chamber of Commerce security work, specifically the Chamber Cybersecurity Leadership Council, and share lead takeaways with the AGA Security & Preparedness Team.

- Represent AGA security initiatives in government, industry and stakeholder policy conferences, workshops, meetings, and other venues as appropriate.

- Support the coordination and implementation of the semi-annual Natural Gas Security Committee meetings and joint AGA/EEI/INGAA Security Conference and associated roundtable and workshops.

- Meet with Vice President of Security & Operations on a regular basis to discuss project status, goals and objectives.

What you will bring:

- At least 10 years professional work experience, cybersecurity, physical security, and electric sector preferred.

- Bachelor’s degree in public policy, computer science, cybersecurity or business-related field, master’s degree preferred

- Strong preference for previous work experience with or education in threat information analytics.

- Proficient in Microsoft programs.

- Ability to travel domestically up to 20% of the year for meetings and events.

- Must be eligible for federal security clearance, preference given for existing active clearance.

- Comprehension of basic cybersecurity-related concepts, natural gas operations, and basic energy (natural gas, oil, electric) security policy.

How we operate:

This role is based in Washington, DC where AGA employees currently have the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely. The employee’s team determines one day each week, and the employee determines the others.

The Pay And Benefits

For employees who live in the Washington, DC Metro area, the salary range for this position is $128,618 to $214,363 annually. Candidates are typically hired at a point in their salary range based on prior experience, education, and market demand for the role; employees are also compared internally to their peers.
