Sous la responsabilité du directeur d’usine, le directeur environnement, santé & sécurité aura les responsabilités suivantes :
Responsibilities: Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Environment, Health & Safety Director will have the following responsibilities: Promote a healthy and safe work environment for all employees. Participate in the elimination and reduction of accidents, injuries, and unsafe actions by developing preventive and corrective measures. Manage current procedures and policies related to the environment, health, and safety in accordance with industry laws and regulations. Develop health and safety programs (policies, procedures, audits, training). Develop strategies and set objectives to improve the organization's performance and strategic vision. Act as a resource person for the organization, institutions, authorities, and other organizations regarding the environment, health, and safety. Recruit, manage, motivate, and develop employees.
Requirements: College diploma or bachelor's degree in a relevant field. 2 years of experience in a management position. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Bilingualism (French and English).
