Reefer Technician: Compensation: $28.38 - $39.48 per hour DOE

•

Installation, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of components on truck and trailer reefer units

•

Maintaining transport refrigeration units on trucks and trailers by performing diagnostics using scanners, electronic test equipment, and onboard computers

•

Completing preventive maintenance, component replacement, and service to refrigeration equipment

•

Maintains truck and trailer refrigeration units and truck’s APU by reviewing shop orders

•

Repairing failures; removing, replacing, and testing for Freon leaks, assembling and installing parts and components involving soldering, welding, and the use of refrigeration equipment

•

Installing various new units on trailers, trucks, and vans

•

Must be able to walk, use hands, fingers, bend, carry, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds

•

Highly prefer 3+ years’ experience repairing Thermo King or Carrier refrigeration units

•

3+ years of field mechanical experience is ideal

•

Must have general mechanical experience in heavy diesel equipment and electrical diagnostics to be considered

•

Must be over 21 years of age, possess and maintain a valid Driver's License to drive for the company
