Summary:

Our internship positions allow high school/college/trade school students to learn our industry, right where the action takes place. This will be a hands-on experience for students, to learn the industry from the ground up. You’ll work alongside some of the best in the aggregate business. This a great opportunity for students with minimal or no mining industry experience to gain first-hand knowledge of an mining operation.

Position primarily located in San Antonio, TX and support a combination of operations in the surrounding areas.

What to Expect:

Interns will enter an approximately 10-12 week rotational internship program, allowing for ownership of a project, allowing the individual to learn the Aggregates/Ready Mix business and develop professional skills including leadership, time management, and relationship building. The goal of the Internship program is to provide individuals with hands-on experience in Heavy Equipment/Diesel Mechanic and allow them to explore safety, production, engineering, geology, quality control, sales, administration and so much more.

Working Conditions

Majority of time will be outside and may require periods of work in all weather conditions-heat, cold, wet or dry and dusty. Must be able to work in areas where noise levels are up to 90 dbs.
