– Mon through Thurs, 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM
– Overtime as needed on Fridays
· Ability to use calipers, tape measure, and powered lifting equipment
Physical Environment:
– Temperature can get very hot; proper PPE is required
– Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, heavy equipment, and stored energy (pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and gravitational)
– Noise levels exceed 85 dB; hearing protection is required
– Common contaminants in the area include dirt, dust, grease, oil, steel chips, swarf, and water
Responsibilities:
– Operates department equipment safely and efficiently, including lifting up to 50 lbs and using lifting equipment
– Helps train new team members
– Participates in Continuous Improvement activities and maintains Plymouth Tube housekeeping standards
– Records component data when required
– Updates Team Lead on employee, quality, production, and safety issues
– Inspects and inventories site-generated hazardous waste staging areas
– Assists in transferring hazardous waste to on-site staging areas
– Directs storage of hazardous waste in designated staging areas
– Conducts inspections of Satellite Accumulation Areas

– Understands, applies, and advocates all Company Environmental, Safety, and Quality policies, procedures, and standards
– Attends all training as required by management
– Has the authority to stop a process to correct quality, safety, or environmental issues and must promptly notify supervisory personnel when processes are noncompliant
