Process Operator/Crane operator the primary role for this position is to perform set up. Paint and prepare & package, load complete and incomplete cylinder components for shipping via rail and truck in a safe and effective manner.
- Builds shipping skids, crates, and containers by measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.
- Prepares railcars and trailers for loading; cleans and applies spray paint or preservatives to finished products.
- Safely operates overhead cranes and various lifting equipment to position and secure apparatus for transport.
- Uses hand, power, and pneumatic tools for assembly and packaging tasks.
- Inspects and secures shipments using blocking, banding, and rods; weighs and documents loaded railcars and trucks.
- Maintains a clean work area, follows safety regulations, and adapts to changing priorities.
- High school diploma/GED required. Must pass career readiness exam with Silver Status.
- Ability to operate cranes confidently and pass Rigger 1 & 2 training.
- Preferred experience with overhead cranes, rigging, lifting beams, and forklifts.
- Mechanically inclined with prior power tool and woodworking experience.
- Shipping experience and familiarity with SAP are a plus.
Hands-on and adaptable; capable of learning and applying new skills.
