Pay: Starting $23+ hourly compensation based on experience and qualifications. Plus $1/hour shift premium paid to FRDC employees.
2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-11pm plus overtime as scheduled.
3rd Shift: Monday-Friday, 11pm-7am plus overtime as scheduled.
As a Die Cast Utility, you will be joining a dynamic team at a growing manufacturing company as a very important position in our business. You will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of die casting to facilitate production. This is a hands-on, physically demanding, fast paced, and high responsibility shop floor position. Duties include but are not limited to the following:
· Install and remove tooling in die casting machines
· Produce good casting samples for Quality Control to approve production
· Assist with process adjustments to maintain/improve casting quality
· Change cores, shot rods, shot tips, spray guns
· Help facilitate the start of the shift
A successful candidate should have some prior manufacturing experience in a factory environment. Die casting or foundry experience would be beneficial. You will be standing, lifting, and working in varying temperatures. Attention to detail and working safely is very important. The candidate must be willing to learn, follow the directions of a supervisor, and work cooperatively with other team members. Other duties may be assigned to help facilitate production goals. A positive attitude and regular and punctual attendance is required. Safety is our #1 priority.
