DevOps Engineer Intern

As a DevOps Engineer Intern at IGS Energy you will be working in an energetic and agile environment. The DevOps Engineer Intern is responsible for working with the development teams to drive continuous integration, build and deployment processes, monitoring the production development environment, and providing any improvements to ensure the teams meet their goals to provide exceptional IT services to our business customers.

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines

- Troubleshooting compilation and deployment failures

- Assist in the management of shared infrastructure services, such as RabbitMQ, Consul, Traefik, and Elastic Search

- Assist in the management and creation of servers via Chef and Terraform

- Facilitate the software release process

Other Roles And Responsibilities

- Improve efficiency and scalability of the continuous integration environment via automation

- System administration tasks such as DNS and certificate management

- Creates relevant technical documentation

- Azure DevOps administration including permissions, branching and source code policies

- Octopus Deploy administration to manage software deployments

- Production monitoring of server and applications to ensure the health of existing production systems

- Responsible for coordinating software upgrades and other support tools to ensure successful builds

- Scripting to facilitate application deployments, server management and automation

Required Skills:

- Improve efficiency and scalability of the continuous integration environment via automation

- Basic familiarity with Windows and Linux administration

- Familiarity with version control

Minimum Education and Experience:

- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

- Ability to thrive in a driven, passionate, creative, and collaborative environment

$31,200.00 - $52,000.00

- This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included.
