Design Engineer

- Use computer-aided design (CAD) to design concepts

- Solid Works experience is required

- Design, model, and test prototypes for products

- Conduct research and create design proposals for projects

- Establish design briefs; organize and maintain engineering records

- Oversee prototype development and confirm designs with purchasing/customer team

- Create concepts, performance, and production criteria

- Identify and select materials needed for production

- Create parts lists

- Evaluate production process

- Ensure components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry and customer standards

- The Design Engineer is responsible for the design, research, prototyping, engineering documentation, BOM

- creation and upload for new products. Improves upon the performance and design of existing products andoversees production and packaging of final product.

- Travel less than 10%.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
