Job Description:
The Design Engineer Intern will assist the engineering team in the development, design, and testing of products and systems. This internship offers hands-on experience with real-world engineering projects, providing the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to practical design challenges. The ideal candidate is a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong interest in engineering and product development.
Essential Duties:
•Assist in the design and development of components, systems, and products.
•Collaborate with senior engineers to create detailed technical drawings and CAD models.
•Participate in product testing, analysis, and validation processes.
•Perform design calculations to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
•Support in prototyping and testing new product concepts and features.
•Revise and update existing designs based on testing results or customer feedback.
•Prepare and maintain documentation, including reports, design specifications, and test plans.
•Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project reviews.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and marketing departments.
•Assist in troubleshooting and resolving engineering issues related to design and performance.
•Performs all duties assigned.

Education:
Required:
•Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
•Basic understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
•Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team setting.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
•Familiarity with design for manufacturing principles.
•Experience with prototyping, 3D printing, or other hands-on fabrication techniques.
Experience:
Required:
•Must be a student currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

•Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
