Design Engineer - CB

Ideally, this candidate can immediately begin to demonstrate proficiency in highway and roadway engineering design.

The successful applicant would immediately begin assisting in the preparation of construction plans, determining plan quantities, engineering estimates and writing specifications.

Additionally, this person should be a motivated, self-starting individual that aspires to work in a team environment and to ultimately grow and mature into project leadership roles.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering at an ABET accredited school.

Minimum of 2 to 5 years engineering experience.

Any drainage design or course work is a plus.

PE or EIT (EI) certification (preferred) with the ability to obtain a Professional Engineer’s license in the State of Illinois.

Familiarity with CADD (Bentley software a big plus) software.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Software.

Excellent and efficient oral and written communications skills.

Strong organizational skills.

A positive work ethic and professionally driven personality.

Valid U.S. driver’s license.
