The Clark County Water Reclamation District is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Departmental Fiscal Services Administrator (Accounting) position. This position will be primarily responsible for:
- Preparing and reviewing monthly and annual financial statements for the annual audit.
- Reconciling sub-ledger systems to the general accounting system, i.e., A/P, A/R, fixed assets, payroll.
- Preparing revenue and expense analysis.
- Supervising and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Supervising and supporting a team of junior and senior staff.
- Performing and reviewing tax reconciliations.
- Interpreting and explaining applicable GAAP/GASB and NRS guidelines.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or Public Administration, or a field related AND four (4) years of full-time professional level experience in a combination of accounting, budgetary and financial analysis and reporting, preferably in a public agency setting, including one (1) year of lead or supervisory experience. Additional experience in an area that has provided the knowledge and skills to perform all aspects of the position may be substituted for the degree on a year-for-year basis to a maximum of two (2) years. Possession of an appropriate advanced degree is desirable.

Licensing and Certification: Specified positions may require possession of a valid Nevada Class C Driver's License at time of appointment.
