- Must have Class B CDL and Health Card
- Safely operate a 24' Flatbed and 16' Flatbed to transport freight to designated locations.
- Load and unload steel as necessary, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
- Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status.
- Operate forklifts or other equipment as needed for loading/unloading tasks.
- Follow all safety protocols when driving on public roads and within facilities.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated.
- Experience in truck driving with a focus on route driving and delivery driver experience.
- Familiarity with various types of trucks including dump trucks, roll-off trucks, flatbeds, and refrigerated trailers.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and load securing techniques.
- Excellent driving record with no major violations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
