About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our growing team in the solar energy industry. You will play a key role in building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our analytics, reporting, and operational systems. Your work will directly support efforts to optimize solar project performance, customer acquisition, and environmental impact reporting.
Responsibilities
•Design, develop, and maintain robust databases to store and manage vast amounts of company data, ensuring high levels of data integrity and security
•Leverage cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and similar for scalable data storage, processing, and machine learning model deployment
•Develop and design versatile custom applications using advanced programming in Python, JavaScript, SQL, and additional languages as needed, to optimize processes and drive efficiency across all departments within the organization
•Perform advanced GeoAnalytics and leverage GIS tools to identify new market opportunities and optimize solar development projects
•Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive data strategy and to foster a culture of data-driven decision making across the organization
•Continuously monitor, evaluate, and enhance the performance of data infrastructure and machine learning models to keep pace with business needs and technological advancements. Research and implement the latest in data engineering and machine learning technologies and methodologies to keep the company at the forefront of innovation in the industry
•Clearly articulate complex data findings, model predictions, and strategic recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making
Qualifications
•Bachelor's Degree is required in Data Science or Computer Science
