Perform a variety of tasks to trim, scuff and reinforce all blade types.
- Follow work instructions and adapt to the work instructions as they change.
- Scuff laminate surface with pneumatic grinder. (Take the gloss off)
- Remove laminate defects with different pneumatic tools.
- Apply glue to areas that have voids (inside and outside the blade).
- Employees working inside the blade must adhere to confined space plan.
- Grind excess glass & Resin inside and outside the root end.
- Clean out inside of blade of dust debris.
- Wear designated personal protective equipment and follow all health and safety guidelines.
- Ability to lift of carry objects or materials up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floors.
- Ability to work with hands for an extended period.
- Ability to operate basic hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Lam I, Lam II certifications (not required – must complete practical to obtain)
