Job Title: Customer Service Specialist
Location: Denver, CO
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Salary: $19 - $21 per hour, negotiable depending on experience.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:Customer Interaction & Support:
•Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy.
•Provide accurate information regarding products, services, and orders.
•Handle and resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
Order Management:
•Accurately enter and process sales orders.
•Track and follow up on orders, ensuring timely delivery and addressing any backorders.
•Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient and timely shipments.
•Verify order accuracy, product availability, and pricing before processing orders.
Administrative & System Tasks:
•Maintain accurate customer records in CRM or ERP systems (e.g., Sage, SAP).
•Prepare and generate reports on customer activity, order volume, and service metrics.
•Assist with invoicing, returns, and credit processing when needed.
•Update and maintain customer data to ensure records are current and accurate.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
•Work closely with sales, operations, purchasing, and accounting teams to address customer concerns.
•Assist sales representatives with quotes, product details, and lead times.
•Collaborate with the Business Development team and other departments to improve customer service processes and operational efficiency.
Education:
•Required: High School Diploma or GED
•Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, or a related field (not mandatory but a plus)
Experience:
•Required: At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced office, retail, or distribution environment.
•Preferred: Experience using ERP or CRM systems, particularly Sage.
•Industry Experience: Previous exposure to the construction, manufacturing, or distribution industries is beneficial but not required.
Skills:
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
•Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office applications.
•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
•Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
•Experience with order processing, inventory management, and logistics is a plus.
•Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
