Customer Experience Advisor

What You Can Expect

The Operations Retail Advisor specializes in minimizing credit risk exposure and credit losses by executing established collections procedures. This role requires strong business communication skills and judgment to enforce compliance with contractual payment terms by contacting customers directly. The Advisor will manage internal and external customer queries, oversee disconnect and reconnect processes, and contribute to departmental projects and process improvements.

- Specialize in the collection of debt owed to ENGIE

- Escalate accounts requiring disconnect for non-payment (DNP) to the collection team for prior customer contact

- Demonstrate expertise in market regulations related to billing and collections

- Advise credit department on payment history for customer renewals

- Collaborate with Transaction Management Team for disconnects, drops, reconnects, and move-outs (MVO)

- Develop documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures, for collection activities

- Recommend process improvements to streamline collection activity

- Coordinate with sales, legal, cash application, and other groups to resolve customer disputes

What You’ll Bring

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business

- Commercial collections experience required

- Preferably 3 years of high-volume corporate collections experience

- Minimum 5 years of business experience

- Knowledge of billing and collections procedures

Compensation

Salary Range: $86,100 – $132,000 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
