is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our reputable clients for an
experienced
Crusher Operator.
Key Responsibilities:
•Uphold health and safety protocols by adhering to company policies and acting responsibly at all times during shifts
•Primarily operate the crusher, with occasional operation of other heavy equipment such as loaders or rock trucks to move, load, and process materials like earth, rock, and gravel in a safe manner
•Complete daily shift documentation, including equipment inspections, load sheets, and hazard assessments
•Conduct pre-operation checks, including cleaning, lubricating, and refilling fluids for machinery
•Participate actively in pre-shift safety briefings and meetings
•Maintain cleanliness and organization within equipment cabs
•Follow all safety standards, regulations, and site-specific rules
•Engage in any required on-site training sessions
•Perform general labor tasks as needed to support the team
Qualifications & Experience:
•Minimum of 5 years of crusher operation experience in a mining or heavy civil construction environment
•Knowledge of heavy civil and mining operations, including loading and hauling
•Valid driver’s license required
•Proven safety record, with experience working within a safety-focused culture in a fast-paced environment
•Experience working in remote mining or industrial sites is essential
•Self-driven with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
•Willing to travel for work assignments
•Physically capable of lifting at least 50 lbs., standing and walking for extended periods, and performing physically demanding tasks
•Able to maintain high performance levels during 12-hour shifts
Preferred Certifications:
•Valid safety tickets such as First Aid/CPR, TDG, and Fall Protection are highly desirable
Compensation & Benefits:
•Daily blended rate of $600-$700, based on a 12-hour shift, experience, and certifications
•Travel to and from the project site from Edmonton, Alberta, or Yellowknife, NWT, is required, with a travel allowance provided
•Rotation schedule of 3 weeks on-site, followed by 3 weeks off
