Targa is currently seeking candidates for a Crisis Emergency Manager based in Houston, TX. The Crisis Emergency Manager will manage Targa’s Emergency Response Plans as required by State and Federal regulations, oversee planning, preparation, and implementation of emergency response drills for the company, communicating and collaborating with emergency responders, managing emergency response training, and participate in industry emergency response groups.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead the preparation and review of emergency response plans or manuals
Develop/enhance emergency response training
Communicate with emergency response officials and local emergency planning committees (LEPC), as well as other city or county officials
Manage the planning, preparation, and implementation of emergency response drills, table-top and/or functional exercises
Analyze data utilizing software applications such as Microsoft Power BI and IBM Maximo
Enhance and maintain emergency response training
Other responsibilities as assigned


MINIMAL ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Emergency Management, or relative emergency response experience
Strong academic record and demonstrated leadership skills
A passion for leading emergency response planning and preparedness. Possess a long-term view of emergency response development and advancement
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships internally at all levels and with external stakeholders
Thrives in a fast paced, dynamic, high-performance work environment with the ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments
Must be flexible and able to adapt as business needs change
Must have the ability to travel and perform work in the field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong systems aptitude and process orientation
Exposure to computer systems and related skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
Regular and reliable attendance
