Position Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Pay Range: $40,435.20 – $56,596.80

Location: Greenwood, SC; remote work is not available for this position.

Hours: 7:00am – 5:30pm Monday – Thursday; On-call as scheduled

Responsibilities/Duties: Under regular supervision, assists in the installation and maintenance of the CPW gas system; performs various gas system maintenance duties. Duties include but are not limited to operating heavy equipment, vehicles, using various hand and power tools. This position is an on-call position and does require overtime as needed. Reports to the Gas Construction and Regulatory Compliance Supervisor.

Required Skills and Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by one year of general mechanical maintenance and repair experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Requires a Class A CDL license or the ability to obtain one within six months of employment. Must become Operator Qualified according to the Department of Transportation and Office of Pipeline Safety Operator Qualification rule, within one year of hiring.
